Ember Gathering is a student-led gathering of youth devoted to worshipping Jesus, discussing God’s Word, praying boldly,

and building authentic community that encourages and loves one another.

 

An “ember” is defined as a small piece of burning or glowing coal or wood and is also Hebrew for “appointed by God.”

This picture of a glowing coal is symbolic of the very heart of Ember - that this gathering would ignite sparks in the hearts of these students, each appointed by God with their own specific mission. The prayer is that Ember would be a time to fan flames, equip, and collectively gather to burn brighter for His glory and to set the world ablaze!
